I heard somewhere that Elisabeth Brooks was supposed to be in this sequel but quit because she got ill. Does that mean that originally instead of Stirba, Marsha was supposed to return and be revealed as the Queen of Werewolves? This would have been better, because it would have tied in just a little more with the original.

So was the Marsha Quist character actually in the novel "Howling 2: The Return"? I understand the character in the film Marianna was originally going to be the Marsha Quist character from the first film until Elisabeth Brooks became sick, then the part was rewritten and became the character Marianna.
