Release This On DVD!

If Howling III-VI are on DVD now, this should be! Whichever company owns the rights should finally release this on DVD!

I think MGM owns the rights to Howling II.

I agree this movie is highly underrated!!! Maybe the effects weren't so fantastic but hey I still loved and yes in the 80's this was scary movie to me lol. It scared me and made me cautious of European looking people. Werewolves scare me hands down over vampires any day.

I wish they'd bring Howling 2 and Howling 7 out and then they'd all be out on DVD. Curse them and their ghettoness. Hmmph.

reply

Why release Howling 7 on DVD? That's the worst movie people ever watched especially myself!

I know it sucked, but they should bring it on DVD to go with the rest of them. It'd be kinda stupid to have all of the Howling movies on DVD except for the last one. (That is if they ever bring the 2nd one out on DVD, lol)

*Lance Henriksen, Sly Stallone, Tom Atkins & Geoffrey Rush are hella hot.*

I hope they release it soon also. I have 1,3,4,5,&6 on dvd and it bugs the hell out of me that I don't have 2.

Heard a rumour that MGM are tracking down the original cut of H2. Phillipe Mora has always said it was radically different and altered by the producers at the last minute into the version we know and love today

Would make a great double edition DVD - but cant imagine MGM spending that much time on it. However Chris Lee is big news again after Lord of the rings so maybe it is true :)

reply

They should do it, it would sell, it's a Christopher Lee pic after all. Maybe the commentry could be done by Jimmy Nail! lol

reply

I have to agree that I don't ever care if Howling 7 ever gets released on DVD. I like the other howling sequels for what they were, thrashy yet entertaining werewolf flicks with at least some quality. Because of that I own all of those on DVD. Howling 7 however is devoid of any quaility what-so-ever and in so has no entertainment value (unless of course your drunk). It felt like a homemade movie and hence I don't even consider it part of the series.

FORGET BUDGET DVD I say this one is released on a 2DISC special edition.
It kicks the first one in the nuts so much and is probably one of the most underrated films of all time. Its got all you could ever wish for in a horror movie, SO MANY WEREWOLVES, LOADS BLOOD AND GORE, TRANSYLVANIA, WEREWOLF ORGIES!, AND OF COURSE CHRISTOPHER LEE and SYBIL DANNING!
