Ending???
I'm confused as to what was the point of the weird little kid in the werewolf costume and the new neighbor at the end. Was it just to show they were paranoid or was there a deeper meaning?
shareThat wasn't supposed to be a "costume"... it was an actual werewolf masquerading as a trick or treater gathering intel about Ben & Jenny. It's just a poor effect.
The DVD unfortunately is missing one bit of footage (as well as the movie's true title) that used to be seen in television prints on USA back in the late 80s/early 90s. As Jenny says "Later", the camera pans down the hall to find a family of werewolves chuckling to themselves. Presumably the werewolf trick or treater was related to them. This footage also appeared in the Australian prints of the movie, I believe.
Had the DVD contained this little bit, it would be the most complete version of the movie available.

shareThat's weird, I didn't see that in the American version. That sucks, bc it would have been an interesting scene that would have made the ending feel less strange.
