Always have loved this movie, but am non-Catholic. What is the significance of Williams passing out at the Church scene or even before that when he says, "This is the greatest day of my life?"

That's for the explanation!!! That sounds like Williams! I heard that the guy who played him, Stephen Geffreys was gay in real life, and sadly got involved in porn films, under the alias, Sam Ritter.
Some time later, I remember reading from someone who interviewed him. Stephen was really cool according to them, but would not answer any questions about his involvement in the porn industry. The coincidence in Heaven Help is, is Williams inner-fascination with sex.

I just remember the actor from Fright Night and Fraternity Vacation. Holy crap, wouldn't have thought he was gay! For the Williams character if he was real life, I thought this kid would have boned every girl he could if he had the chance!
