shareha. i love it.
shareoh I agree. I get goosebumps during that scene. I've never been so glad to see someone get punched in the face!

That is a sad bit. I thing the removal of the head of the statue was a great way of getting revenge. I just wish Dunn and the boys could do something even more clever. It bothers me so much that the church could disrupt a local business like that; that would never fly today.
Constance getting nailed in the face is awesome. One other classic scene is the bridge scene.
That was a good scene. My favourite was when Boo was hugging her brother and asking "You aren't going to leave me?" Actually I can't remember the exact words, it's been a while since I watched it but that scene breaks my heart.

i luv it!!!!
shareI love Rooney's conversation with God during the bridge scene, but last week my son was jumping on his bed, causing some screws to fall out and it made me think of Caeser's chair collapsing. "But Brother, my screws are gone..."

That scene is a classic and it is even more funny when they are in the head master's office and he said that he always hated that statue. Pure comedic hilarity from Sutherland.
sharei liked the look on dunn's face as he realized that is one pi**ed brother who has no personal restraint.
shareI love that scene! I went to Catholic school during the time period depicted in the movie, and that scene was so cathartic for me. There were so many nuns I wanted to punch in the face!
shareThis may not be the greatest scene in the movie, but ALWAYS makes me laugh out loud:
The guys are watching an Elvis movie in the theatre and Rooney asks, "What they do to Elvis, cut his balls off?"
I think the movie is Blue Hawaii, the wedding song sequence.
There are a lot of great scenes in this movie. One of my favorites is the talk on lust given to the students prior to the dance. Classic!
shareThe line that always get's me is one a few folk might have not heard.....
The lads are in the playground just before we see Janine and you hear Rooney say (I think to Williams) "If I looked like you I'd shave my ass and walk backwards".
I'm only half Troll....on my mothers side.
Saw it again this morning. While I love all those scenes as well, one that really tugged at my heart-strings was with Dunn and Danni on the beach during that rainy day together. Made me think of a long, lost girlfriend (since deceased from breast cancer) who I saw this film with in the 1980's...she loved Andrew McCarthy lol. Just a very, touching (amoungst many) scene in this film.
