because she asked her dad if she could go but he said no,and she always did what her dad told her.So she didn't take a change of clothes to school with her and then when the bus is pulling off she changes her mind and goes to the audition.So she in her school uniform and has no change of clothes.I think that's right.

Janey and her dad were both in the kitchen because of two reasons. I think the reason her dad was in the kitchen is because her dad was aware that she was sneaking out. The reason Janey was in the kitchen is she was probably looking for something to eat.
