i thought sjp and helen hunt were about 15 poss 16 in this film but sjp was 20 and helen hunt 18 ohh my god! they didnt look it anyone else think this?

Most of the main characters looked college age or older to me. Except Shannen Dougherty, she looked like a little girl or tween. I guess it's harder to fake pre-puberty.

I thought Helen was older, OP had me worried. But agree that they did look their own age (college). But SJP had a youthful look where she could pull off any age. Shannon was the age of her character (give or take a year or two). But really thought Holly Gagnier was older than anyone but her and Helen were about the same in age. Guess I assumed this since she later went on to play more adult roles than anyone else.

SJP would have been 19 during filming; she only turned 20 like two weeks before the film was released, so she was still a teen during filming. share
I thought SJP looked really young, like 15/16. She put a lot of effort into pulling off the teeny vibe. Very good acting.

OH MY! What a faux pax on the OP's part. LOL whatever. A few months difference due to timing based on filming? She was in her late teens veering towards 20. The point IS, she was still older than the character she played, yet the OP pointed out whether anyone else thought that was odd.
