Bought the blu-ray review..if you have the dvd then dont bother
Hey im in the uk and love this film
have it on blu-ray the US version and i bought the UK version when it came out over here
so when i heard blu-ray was being released i was excited, i ordered if while ago although i read a review of the blu-ray on amazon saying the quality is just like their dvd version
well they were right
so im pretty dissapointed, As you guys can tell from the front cover its a really bad photoshop using someone elses bodies for the 3 girls and their heads have just been stuck on lol looks horrid
as far as picture quality if anyone has the dvd and plays it on their ps3 that upscales dvds or a seperate player that upscales then you dont need the blu-ray
they must of used the same print they used to make the dvds or done a really cheap thing and made the blu-ray from a dvd and upscaled it because it has exactly the same bitty artifacts that pop up on my dvd
they have not attempted to clean it and make the picture look any better AT all
if anything it looks a bit worse than the dvd as the bits stand out more and so does the grain!!
the sound is slightly better and i mean slightly, there are no extras only a trailer for the film
i fail to see why they add trailers for the film your actually watching :S also the trailer for some reason has parts blocked out of it the part where the title of the film comes up goes to a black screen almost as if they were not allowed to show it :S yet its the film your going to watch
they could of done alot to make the picture better, look at the goonies blu-ray thats great, then again this was not hit of a film so maybe thats why
case: 1 out of 10
video quality: 4/5 out of 10
souund: 6 out of 10
