I have looooved this movie since the first time I saw it. I've been dying to get the Soundtrack but it's just soooo impossible!
Was there EVER a soundtrack to this film?? I'm starting to think there wasn't since I've never seen it anywhere.

I have a question: Why is it NOT Cyndi Laupers version of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun in the movie?? There's another girl singing that song... Why was that?

Anyone have the soundtrack on CD? It has to include the song I Can Fly by Rainey. Anyone??

When I was younger I had it on a vinyl record. So I KNOW it's been made. It did have I Can Fly. When I got older I downloaded all the songs from LimeWire and made my own soundtrack! Hahaha!

This is one of my favorite "dance" movies besides "Shag-The Movie" and "Bootmen."

There was a soundtrack. I have it on cassette tape.

Yes there was a soundtrack. I owned it (on cassette tape) for many years until my tape player ate it (I was crushed!). The cassettes are hard to come by but you can usually find them on Ebay or auction sites. Rumor has it there was a CD re-release, which I've also seen on the above mentioned sites but I'm not sure if those are real or just someone burning the songs to CD?

And Cyndi's version wasn't in the movie because of licensing restrictions. So they had the 3 female artists cover the song.

Hope you're apple pie is freakin' worth it!
