This is one of three films currently in my queue that had long or very log waits and then suddenly were unavailable and migrated to the saved section. Looks like I won't be seeing it. They have it for sale at target, but I've never seen it (and I was a teen during the 1980s!) and am not sure I should buy it. and it's only $5.
shareIt is definitely worth buying! It may not be the most well-made movie in the world, but it is a genuine feel-good flick that I'm sure you will want to watch over and over again!

Though I never really saw it, I seem to remember my aunt renting it while I was at her house one day in 1986. She had a Capacitance Electronic Disc player--remember those things? Those old videodiscs that looked like a vinyl records encased in a large heavy caddy that was inserted into the player, which extracted the disc and played it with a stylus like that on a record player. My mom rented one of these one year for my birthday. This is as much as I remember about these things.
shareWell, I finally got it from Netflix last Tuesday. It was great and I can't believe I missed the first time around.
shareIt's now on Netflix Instant. I saw it for the first time last night, and I can't believe I'd never heard of this. (I adore campy 80s teen flicks.) Sinfully cheesy, but it was a blast from beginning to end.
