Where is the house that they filmed (at least the exteriors)? Looks like a cool place to visit.

I got all that info from my friend who used to work on crummy horror and sci/fi flix. He worked on this one for 3 weeks then the production closed down from the usual lack of funds. When they got the bux back he and 3/4ths of the crew had gone on to other projects and better pay. Heigh ho!

Just came across this question. Sorry my answer is so late. It's the Wattles mansion and gardens in Hollywood. It's an exceptionally cool place to go, but not nearly as creepy as they made it look in Ghoulies.
shareat the time they filmed ghoulies it was recently obtained from the hollywood heritage society or whatever, the city of LA got it at the time they where filming and they were renovating it around the time they filmed.
