Nice movie

I've only just seen this movie for the first time and I enjoyed it. Not quite as cool as The Lost Boys is but it shares a similar part comedy/part serious horror tone and obviously being set in the 80's, has that nostalgic vibe to it, which is always a bonus. Love the musical theme Come to Me also.

Part of me would have liked the movie to stretch out the mystery around the new neighbour and have Charlie discover his identity as a vampire more slowly than he did, but maybe that would have been another movie. Not that I was disappointed, although the second half wasn't quite as interesting to me as the first. Might have benefited from exploring Jerry's background a little bit?
