no one knows for sure its discussed and debated and argued about a LOT. my opinion was that he was some type of half vampire and retainer who lived off jerrys blood but didnt take victums. im sure many will disagree.

Vampires imbue their assistants with superhuman power and strength. Just like James Mason in Salem's Lot. They're the vampire's watchdog, so they have to be powerful.
