Love the traditional powers

I love that the vampires in this have all the powers and weaknesses from the original Dracula novel. The ability to become a wolf, bat, and mist, and even when Jerry seemed to summon the lightning in the alley. Those are all powers from the original Dracula novel. The biggest difference is Dracula actually could venture out by day in the original novel.

And later the sequel mentions the vulnerability to wild roses. This is something very, very rarely brought up in vampires films but is in the original Dracula novel.

These references to the original novel and the various homages to Hammer and other classic horror are what make this film so great and far superior to it's remake.
