Finally we have the answer! Tom Holland stated that Bill y Cole was "in transition" between being a Vampire and still being a human. Jerry promised him eternal life for his services! Now we can stop the whole "Guhl" Talk!

Which explains the green goo that comes out of him later. Yeah I always figured Cole was some kind of supernatural being but with human elements since he was able to be out in daytime.
