I thought it was garbage as well. Jumped from scene to scene. Set looks like the phony prop set from Scream. More camp than horror. Can't believe the score on this is higher than the remake.

I can understand the disappointment. I loved Fright Night...but not having seen it for a long time, when I bought the blu ray the memory of it was better than the 2016 rewatch.

I know people here will organise a witch hunt and have me burnt at the stake but I preferred the 2011 version. When I saw that at the cinema I thought it was going to be another 'clever' remake for the teen audience but I really enjoyed it.
