shareF.....K YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
THEY BETTER MAKE A GREAT FRIGHT NIGHT 3 MOVIE - SEQUEL TO THE ORIGINAL WITH THE ORIGINAL CAST BACK. THAT'S THE MOVIE WE WANT TO SEE.
PS.
DAMN IT.....WELL ALL THE ORIGINAL CAST MINOR RODD = PETER VINCENT WHO IS DEAD SINCE DAMN VAMP BITE HIM BACK IN....1998......LOL
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I don't know that I'd want a third. Just let it rest. We already got one great film, a surprisingly great remake, a halfway decent sequel...just leave it be. They already squeezed more good out of this franchise than should have been possible
shareThe fact that you called the remake "surprisingly great" makes all of your opinion utterly invalid to me, that hideous mess doesn't deserve the title of Fright Night.

That doesn't even make sense.

You're obviously not a very big Fright Night fan because that is such a ridiculous statement.
I'm not a fan of remakes in general but the 2011 film was a rare exception. Number one the script was by Marti Noxin. SHe was one of the head writers for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Truly a talent. The story did the almost impossible task of remaining incredible true to the original film in story and spirit. Yet at the same time, the change in location (to the outskirts of Vegas) and the brilliant change of Peter Vincent to a vegas magician were enough to make it feel 'new' and not like a second rate rehash. The end result was a film that was certified fresh on rotten tomatoes.
