Since 1970s stuff like Josie and the Pussycats, Scooby-Doo and other such *beep* is big with kids, this should be shown on Saturyday Morning or rereleased with no changes.

No. As goofy as Fletch is, there's still an intelligence to the humor in this movie. No fart jokes, no jokes about wee-wees and hoo-hahs, so, no, today's brain dead masses would not like this film.
