Tis a sad day. I found out Explorers is out of print. Absolutly no store out in Massachusetts carries a copy...thank god for Amazon, but this sucks not having a great 80s movie on the shelf.

Maybe it's coming out on blu-ray. Sometimes studios do that. They delete the DVD and re-release it in a special edition DVD/Blu-ray format... hopefully that's happening in this case.

IF you have any Biglots near you, check out their DVD section. I have found both the Original DVD AND the I LOVE THE 80s Edition of Explorers. It is usually $3 but sometimes they sell for 2 for $5.
