A good movie for a reboot

This is a rare instance where a reboot would work. I higher budget could elevate this awesome story. This could work very well as an allegory for today's social and political climate.

Who would sponsor the soda can though?

Ehh, I don't think the effects were important to the story, though

Even back in 1985, they were pretty poor, but I still liked the flick

I said a similar thing about Remo Williams on that board. It's obscure enough and far enough in the past that it would be fresh and original to most people. And it doesn't have such hardcore fans that there would be any of the you-ruined-the-original outrage.

It could benefit from modern cinematography and the story/plot itself holds up.

Love Remo, and agree. Play up the humor and make the action even bigger.
