sharei saw the exact same skit (with snl cast) on saturday night live when jack black was hosting. so either snl has made a rip off of this or this is a rip off of snl.

It's not really a ripoff. Andy Samberg wrote the skit for awesometown, and now he's on saturday night live. I'd imagine that he pitched it there, and since nobody saw awesometown, they aired it. Samberg played Glirk in both versions.
