Has anybody seen the SNL spoof of this film with Jack Black? It's pretty hilarious and actually more entertaining than the original film itself.

What does Jack Black have to do with ENEMY MINE? He was not in it. Where did this come from?

Humorous, but only barely. I guess I still prefer watching Jack Black get his hand blown off in "The Jackal". <EVIL GRIN> Now THAT was infinitely funny.

LOL, not really that funny, but great that they did a spoof of Enemy Mine - quite remarkable.. it's like having Weird Al do a spoof of one of your songs..

Everyone has their own taste in comedy. So that is a fairly bold statement.

This skit was written a while ago by an online comedy group called The Lonely Island. The three members were hired by SNL a couple years ago, and they have been doing the Digital Shorts (Dick in a Box, Lazy Sunday etc.) that have kept SNL in anyones mind. They did this skit for a pilot they were shopping around a while ago and you can find it on their website. Jack Black is a friend of theirs and was a part of the original pilot they were shopping around. When he hosted this episode of SNL he was naturally cast as the human when they did the skit again. I like the original sketch better just because the final line is delivered so much better by the original human actors (one of the writers).

Took Fraps video and tried to load on Youtube/Vimeo....failed. Copy-write infringement. The skit is in the 2nd half of the above episode. After the Weekend News is a Debbie Downer skit. The Space War 2148 follows Debbie Downer.
