One of the best sci-fi movies!

Although I saw this movie once, I was stunned by its first impression. This may not be Star Wars or Alien but it is a great movie. I can not believe how UNDER-RATED it is! In fact, it is so under-rated that its impossible to find it on store shelves, at least here in Toronto. If I could, I would buy it right away.

I haven't seen it in years ... but I remember liking it and wondering why the critics didn't.

It is underrated. I had heard of it but just never thought it looked that great from the previews. But it's pretty awesome - a cool story and I generally like movies from this era - the effects have alot of charm and character.
