What do you think brought down the dam? Was it the dynamite that Bill placed and detonated? Or was it the water surge, brought on by the singing of the frogs? Nature vs. Technology, who do you think won?

You can't blow up a dam with 5 pounds of explosives. Even if he had a truck bomb it wouldn't have been enough.

if you actually watch the movie you can find out for yourself. There's no such mystery why the dam burst; it's a very simple story, just pay attention.
