'cuz that dubbing needs to go, man. I know alot of Italian horror films were released in English versions like Deep Red but Demons is one that needs to be restored bad. I have both Anchor Bay discs for one and two and they are only English I believe.

I've been wondering the same thing. I hate the English dubbing and would much rather watch the film in its original Italian language with subtitles. Hopefully someday we'll get a DVD release that offers this.

shareOh okay, cool. I have Arrow's DVD of Vamp which I love. I have read alot of mixed reviews of their releases though. I'm pretty sure my Blue Underground DVD of Deep Red has the Italian audio. Much better IMHO.

I believe I have seen a small portion of the original Italian audio version of Dèmoni somewhere on youtube, though I am not sure whether it was subtitled or not. I will look into it and see if it is still stream-able out there.
Keeping the 80s up to date
I can't find it on youtube anymore, I'm sure it was uploaded there. But something fantastic happened last Saturday.
I was surfing on the web looking if some website was streaming the original Italian audio version of Demoni. Somewhere in the afternoon completely out of the blue my aunt payed a visit told about a movie she bought, when I asked what the title was, she said Demon 1 (it turned out to be Demons 1, Demoni) and showed it to me. I looked at the cover and thought this is to good to be true, then I looked at the details and BINGO! Italian audio, Dutch subtitles.
I couldn't believe it, the one version of Demoni I was looking for all this time and the best part was I got to keep it for my collection.

Isn't the italian version dubbed too, though? I'm fairly certain that they filmed it with the italian actors speaking english in a heavy italian accent, then dubbed both in english with different voice actors and in italian with the original actors' voices. So the italian version is actually more distracting, because what's being said doesn't match the actors' lips.
But don't quote me on that.. I've seen the version with the italian audio a while ago and to this date I don't quite understand how the whole dubbing thing worked for these italian horror films.

Thank you both for clearing that up. I've seen the movie a good amount of times, and while the sound is obviously dubbed, it did look like the actors and actresses were speaking english and not italian, but i kept hearing people talking about wanting to see the film with it's "original, italian language", and it confused me like crazy :)
