EVERY movie should have a scene where a random chopper falls through the roof. Let's even shoot a scene like that to pimp up old movies. Films like Gone With The Wind would be like 129% better.

Mr Smith goes to Washington: as good as the filibuster scene is, it could use a helicopter through the roof.

Okay, great places in the world of films to use the OP's chopper coming through the roof motif:

#1 Saving Private Ryan: Army admin officers discussing the fact that Mrs Ryan is about to get several seperate telegrams telling her her sons have been killed in action. Chopper explodes through the roof.

#2 Gladiator: Commodus screams, "I am not merciful?!" At his sister. Pause. Helicopter through roof.

#3: American Psycho: Pat Bateman dong crunches while porn plays on the TV in his apartment. Helicopter crashes through ceiling.

#4 Ghost: When Sam and Molly are doing that pottery scene while Unchained Melody plays in the background. Helicopter crashes through the ceiling.

It would be amusing to see Reverend Track's reaction if a chopper fell through the roof during Vicki's witchcraft trial in Dark Shadows. "This mysterious object is proof positive that she IS a WITCH!!!!" 
