Hilarious replies here from all the butt hurt, close minded Romero fans. I guess if it's new it sucks. Idiots.

If it sucks it sucks.

Say what you will, WD would not be without Romero. Besides. When Negan arrives... it's over.

Ha ha, you are mega-incredibly super-wrong.

I'm guessing you were born after the year 2000. Because your taste in entertainment is pure unfiltered sewer water.

Nope, it's better.

Very astute of the OP to notice that this is in fact not a current, huge budget television series

It is rather a low budget classic zombie movie that will be remembered long after TWD is forgotten.

If only GAR had the budget he wanted to do it the way he wanted, then I fear it would hold up even to the newer generation of zombie fans out there.

I enjoy TWD, but it's not a patch on this,IMHO the greatest of all zombie films closely followed by the preceding Dawn of the Dead.

If GAR hadn't made the all original trilogy (I kind of like to forget the others)who knows what TWD would be or if it would even exist at all!

Report trolls and/or obscene posts.DO NOT feed them by replying to their textual diarrhoea!

I can't speak for The Walking Dead, since I haven't watched it. But anyone who claims Day of the Dead is an inferior zombie film cannot be a fan of the horror genre, he's only a fan of CGI, or whatever is the latest popular film/series.

Never be complete.

reply

No, The Walking Dead has a cast that can act... only the gal here doing her best Ripley from Alien could even act a little

This was less a movie than watching a vulture eat roadkill

reply

Yeah. The kid who plays Carl is the best actor I have ever seen LOL.

Ignore the smoke.

reply

You scrote. There would be no Walking Dead if it wasn't for this film.

reply

Pretty much this. I've seen this for the first time today and I've been surprised how much TWD it is - the mood, characters, everything. More than any other zombie movie I've seen, this one is the indisputable origin of the TV series.
TWD isn't remotely as novel and innovative as its fans like to think.

reply

Bingo! Bango! You hit the head on the nail. Smart.

Well don't just do something, stand there!

When the walking dead is great... It really is great. But that's about 30-40 percent of the time. It has the ability to be both thrilling, yet completely tedious and boring.. All within the same 43 minutes. An overrated show if there ever was one. It simply can't hold a candle to any of the original dead trilogy movies.
