I recall somebody saying they read in an interview with George A. Romero that had Miguel not let the walkers in, that he would have died anyway. I can't seem to find it at the moment.

Do you think the amputation would have been enough to save Miguel?

I always thought you had no chance. If its a blood infection from a bite, then your blood travels round your body in a minute. The infection would soon be away from the wound.

Per TWD logic, yes. Heck, even per World War Z logic.

I just don't know who'd want to die in such an agonizing way. Yikes!
