I agree...worst piece of trash I ever tried to sit through.
Not funny at all, just incredibly stupid. After about 20 minutes, I was groaning so bad, I had to switch to something else.
Bruce Campbell was great as usual. And I enjoyed the cartoon-ness of it. But the video and audio quality were garbage, the acting was amateur in every way, some of the dialogue not so lively, and the plot becomes muddled and not worth following by the halfway point.
Seems like the Coen bros. learned from this, and refined it to get the much better (yet still cartoony) Hudsucker Proxy... my 2 cents on the matter... tried to sit through twice and gave up both times. This from a fan of both Raimi and the Coens...
