What happened to all of them? When Celie first arrived, Albert said "Dis here is y'alls new mammy." And there were a bunch of children, and later on Celie is trying to comb one girl's nappy hair. Lastly, at the dinner table Celie says to Harpo "Y'all were some rotten kids."
So really, what happened to the others, and why did Harpo only stay around?
