Now you know Lupita N'yongo is way too pretty to play Celie! "You sho' is ugly" to Lupita? More like playing Nettie at least.

There is something called, Hollywood makeup. I'm sure that talented makeup artists could "ugly her up" a bit...

Danielle Brooks is playing Sofia on Broadway and I'd love to see her do it on screen in an imaginary remake. :-)
