Ain't it a little weird that none of the actors in THE FINAL TERROR was used more than in that (I have to admit - boring) flick? I'm still looking for an uncut copy, seems hard to find. Well, I guess Andrew wasn't satisfied with his (or the actors) work in it. What's your guess?
Haven't seen The Final Terror, but I noticed that Daryl Hannah and at lest one other of the actors are from Chicago, just like Andrew Davis.
It says in his biography that he likes to film in his home town.
Many of the actors he recycles are from Chicago, some might be local actors, others might be personal friends of him that he uses in small parts.
Gene Barge have only been in his films.
One of the others, Joseph F. Kosala is
a retired police officer from the Chicago Police Department, and he was also technical advisor on some of the films.
The reason he didn't use any of the actors from The Final Terror again, might be that it was one of his early film, and it might have been filmed outside Illinoise... (there was no information about filming locations for this one)
I got tickest to a preview of The Guardian (his last film). It was enjoyable, despite of all the clichés.
