Lee Ving...

perhaps channeling a little bit of DeNiro in his performance here? He's certainly funnier in this film though than DeNiro was/is in any of his own comedies.

He sounds a lot like Joe Mantegna to me. Actually, Lee Ving's voice was over-dubbed because, although the filmmakers liked his look, his natural voice didn't sound sinister enough.

He was funny? I never thought he was really funny in this movie, he only had a few lines when you really think of it. Only thing he really did was lift Yvette's maid's dress as if he owned her. But yeah he did sound a lot like Joe Mantegna. As for Robert DeNiro, he's funny to me in roles where he is playing serious parts.

Yes, I thought Ving was funny in this movie in a very understated way/manner.

He was just slick acting very oily. I wish it was more to this movie with him and Wadworth's relationship. I can see Mr. Boddy as more than just a butler. Kind of like a vampire's unwilling servant.
