Not sure what you point is, Cujo WAS a St Bernard

I was watching the DVD with commentary. There were several dogs playing Cujo and one was used in this movie. Several cats also played the cat

Yes, a bloodily gorily matted St. Bernard. I'd say that was Cujo, wouldn't you?

It's definitely Cujo. Just as the car that almost hit him is definitely Christine (check the bumper sticker).
The director made Cujo as well.
