Truck in garage makes no sense
This movie REALLY had a problem with cars.
Every time I see this movie or see someone 'reacting' to this movie, I notice more things that make no sense.
Does it make ANY sense that Marty opens the garage door, and Biff's freshly-waxed 'four-by-four' sits there? Think hard.
We know there are two pretty much completely different 'Marties' (Martys?). One that never had his own truck, so he has to use alternative means of transportation - i.e. skateboard.
Then there's the number Two, that has had a 'dream truck' for who knows how long, but I think it's safe to assume relatively long, because everyone treats the truck in the garage as 'normal', not anything 'new and exciting'.
So, Marty 1 uses skateboard, Marty 2 uses a truck, let's call it a car for simplicity's sake.
Now, when Doc calls Marty and asks him to bring his video camera, will Marty 2 REALLY use a skateboard to arrive to Tw.. Lone Pine Mall?
No. He's going to use his truck. I know it could be 'too noisy' and all, but the same could be said about a PHONE RINGING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, so that argument doesn't hold water. Also, he could push the car a bit and let it roll downhill without turning on the engine, then drive really slowly to keep the noise down for awhile.
There's absolutely no way someone that is used to driving a car would just suddenly downgrade to a skateboard.
This means, Marty's car should be visible in Lone Pine Mall somewhere, and if Doc really drives Marty home, then that car should still be in the parking lot of the Lone Pine Mall, RIGHT?! RIGHT?!
I mean, what the heck, how does that car find its way back for Biff to wax it and then close the garage and somehow leave the whole yard and driveway completely dry afterwards..?
NOTHING that has to do with the family cars makes ANY SENSE WHATSOEVER in this movie, you could pick apart all the car stuff for hours and still have more to go. Geez, you can tell the individual that wrote the tacked-on ending skit wasn't the same caliber as the people that wrote the rest of the script. I mean, come on, how many faults can you add to such a short ending?
In any case, Marty's car being in the garage makes absolutely no sense.
