George's bike parking makes no sense

Why would George park his bike SO far away from the Cafe entrance? I mean, look how far he has to walk just to then bike BACK to the original direction!

Wouldn't it make more sense to leave his bike on the OTHER side of the Cafe wall, maybe even to the left side of the window, so all he has to do is hop on the bike and start riding instead of having to walk ALL the way to the right, hop on the bike, ride ALL THE WAY back and then turn, and THEN start riding towards the peeping location?

This makes absolutely no sense - not even George would be THAT stupid, after all, he's a budding writer, for crying out loud, he's supposed to be able to use his intelligence!

This kind of bike parking makes NO SENSE!
