Why does Marty assume that Doc means 1:15 AM as opposed to PM?

He goes to his house at 8:20-8:25 AM and then Doc calls and tells him to meet him at "1:15". Marty then asks "1:15 in the morning?". It's 8 in the morning why would he not assume he means at noon?

you're right, was watching the scene just now and he said "tonight" so fast that I didn't notice even with me rewinding it a few times. Ty for the quick response ;-)

It's just one of those movies I love rewatching like Hot Fuzz. So many little details and they're just great movies aswell
