Little thing I noticed tonight

Sam Baines is an *beep*

He hits Marty with the car and then tells his very pregnant wife, Stella, to help him drag Marty into the house.

Seriously dude.

Just a rant lol

reply

Huh, I never even noticed she was pregnant.

reply

Me either. Besides I thought Joey was the youngest anyway and he was in the pen, no pun intended.

Hey! You're not old enough to drink! Now go and die for your country!!!

Yeah but Marty lived on Diet Coke and looked as light as a feather.
Hey, he was a (diet) Pepsi man; get it right! ;)

One thing I never noticed until recently, is when Marty walks down the alley in 2015; there are posters to elect Goldie Wilson Jr. For some reason I never bothered to try and make out what the posters said before.

Well not only this but he also said another one of these kids got in front of his car so how many people has he ran over. Also what happened to them did larene not fall in love with those people like she did with marty. Also why did lerene have such a low voice before she turned the light on but then she talked like a teen kid once the lights came on. I get it in the movie the director wants you to think this was the old larene with the voice but in real life it would of made no sense.

Fairly obvious that Zemeckis intends the audience to hear what Marty hears right after he wakes up from being unconscious. When Lorraine speaks, Marty hears his mother's voice as he remembers it. Even though it's not filmed from Marty's POV, this misdirection is clearly the intention.

It's not real life. Why should it? And who's to say Marty wouldn't perceive Lorraine's voice to be how he remembers from 1985, especially after basically waking up from a coma?

reply

What they did was extremely dangerous. If Marty had certain types of head injury or internal injuries there would be a limited window of time to get him medical help. Lying unconscious for hours might have proven fatal.
