BLU RAY RELEASE IS A MUST

When is MGM going to get of their backsides and release this gem with a commentary track featuring the director and Dudikoff? Seriously this is beyond a joke now. This film is a masterpiece on a molecular level and its still is yet to be given proper special edition release treatment.

Hopefully with the release of the Golan/Globus documentary this year, it'll finally happen - but it should have happened sooner. This film is so good that it boosts my immune system when I watch it. Release it already on blu-ray and I want to hear Firstenberg's and Dudikoff's narration during the jail breakout scene and the third act which includes a thrilling score that inter-cuts between:

a) A drug deal going down
b) Joe sabotaging the drug deal
c) A Black Star Ninja/Joe battle to the death
d) A military army infiltrating Ortega's property
e) Joe's master being killed
f) A chase sequence between Joe and the Black Star Ninja
g) Jackson kicking ass - SOLO
h) The drug deal going wrong - Ortega turns rabid
h) Patricia's father being cowardly killed by Ortega
i) A showdown between Joe and the Black Star Ninja
j) and then the final sequence between Joe, Ortega, and Joe finally rescuing Patricia.

WE WANT A *beep* BLU RAY WITH A COMMENTARY DAMMIT! RELEASE IT ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's going to be a Golan-Globus documentary??? How do you know that? That's great news, if it's true!

I'm happy as hell to see other people feel so strongly about this masterpiece as I do. For years, without the Internet and IMDB, I never knew just how strong the following for it really is.

Totally down to support a Blu-Ray with commentary. Unfortunately, Michael Linn, the composer, passed away years ago. Would have been nice to get his POV on the creation of the score as well.
