Looking for a ninja movie..

I only remember the ending. An old swordmaster and his American protoge (the film's hero) are stealthly going through the chief villian's lair, downing his bodyguards like flies. The swordmaster reaches the villian and they engage in a swordfight. One of the villian's bodyguards shoots the swordmaster in the back, mortally wounding him. Enraged, the villain walks over to his henchman and stabs him dead, for killing his enemy. Shortly after,the American hero reaches the villain, they engage in a swordfight. The hero uses either a table or a chair as a barricade and while the villain is trying to stab through the barricade at him, the hero springs up and splits the villain's head in half.
