What scenes were cut from the original version of American Ninja in the UK before having the cuts waived?

A close up 3 second shot of the ninja star in the soldiers head after Joe escapes prison, anything to do with ninja stars being shown in a graphic manner was censored on UK videos after 1984. Also there was a couple of bits trimmed in the fight in the warehouse at the docks with Joe and some bad guy ninjas.

its heavily edited. i remember seeing the edited version first and then seeing the uncut version and thinking "man oh man... this film is pretty violent!" though i was 10 at that time.

the uk had a real bad thing towards ninja weapons in the 80's. they censored a lot in films and even banned the weapons themselves in 88.

I remember one time when I was rewatching Revenge of The Ninja here in the United States, I said to myself, "wait a minute, I don't remember seeing that before." All the action with shurikens and especially its aftermath following by closeups. Coming from Russia originally where I've seen ninja movies back in the 90s now I understand that it was censored by UK board and not by Soviets.
