Why is the acting so terrible in that episode!? It is ridiculous!

I think the acting was exaggerated for comic effect. Many episodes in this 80s series tend to focus a lot on comedy.

Yeah called the box. It was full of plotholes though.

The main guys stuttering was just so so bad. It distracted from the episode.
