a little peace and quiet

This episode made me think. If I was in that situation I would find a fire engine, ride along the pavement back to my family, load them in and try to drive out of the country. A fire engine because it big enough to smash people out of the way, it sounds awful but you cant save every one. I wouldn't go down without trying to get me and mine out of there. Did anyone else think about what they would do?

Well, the impression that I got was that she was pretty fed up with her family and all of that noise and really got what she wanted, although not in the way she had expected. I think she probably let things stay the way they were. After all, she would have it made...total silence, time was still so food and water supplies would not spoil, no crime, no fuss, just total silence.

Well it made me think also. She stops time seconds away from doomsday. If she begins to feel lonely she can't reactivate time. So in that situation she can pack and load her family and get out of that area hundreds of miles away but where would she go? A nuclear fallout will be devastating everywhere. It's a very sticky situation.

Best option? Drive to the coast with her family, assuming she can carry them. Steal a boat at the dock and load the family in it. Drive somewhere remote with as much gas station food you can load. Since she would only have to feed herself for the majority of the trip she wouldn't need much.

The fun thing is when she has to explain to her family how they got where they are. At that point she has no excuse but to tell them about her power and the nuclear war.

Now this is where things get interesting. She has the power to kill governmental leaders so if any remnants of the government exist she could ask to be hired to carry out an assassination in order to hopefully initiate a ceasefire.
