I'm a T-Cats fan but i don't look around for info on the series that much.
AND ITS A NEW SERIES!!!
I'm a grown man but like the nostalgia the original had in letting me grow up slowly and keeping that kid inside me alive!
The T-Cats boards are gonna be alive until a new one is created for this show. Damn, even ComicCon 2010 going to have something major like this to announce now!

I caught this over at Collider. Man this came out of left field didn't it? It wasn't that long ago that hopes for a film were dashed so I figured that was that.
This has so much potential and I'm anxious to get more info. Hopefully, as you said, at ComicCon.

Anyways, yeah i'm still mulling over ComicCon this year, with news like this dropping ya know Warners and DC Wildstorm comics will be getting a hall, venue and table ready at San Diego ready. Plenty of business and pleasure events for me to be apart of, but ComicCon takes planning, and with the World Cup coming up next week, i know i'll be distracted in the organising phase.
By the time its over, they'll be 2 weeks or so before ComicCon begins. Man i keep saying each year; i gotta go, i gotta go etc.
Early days yet. But if anybody from here can go, i wish you all the best it'll be crazy so plan ahead and bring those 'evian water bottles' heats going up already for the summer *phew*!

Anyways far as the movie goes, CGI ThunderCats i had my doubts about unless they had worthy CGI rivalling Final Fantasy: Advent Children and didn't make'em out to look like The Incredibles/Toy Story. cos that kind of CGI doesn't suit the ThunderCats!
But after seeing that they did to Transformers: Armada back in the early 2000's, i feared things from my generation would become way too "kiddy-ish".
We'l see soon enough won't we though!

I've never been to CC my self. It's on the other side of the country, so it's not something I can do casually. I'd love to go this year but the stars just aren't lined up. My first vacation of the year is next week and the other in November and I've got to save up for that one because it's out of the country.

I was never sold on the CGI animated "Thundercats" either. It works well enough for "Clone Wars", but even still I prefered the look of the original "Clone Wars" micro series.
