Thundercats video game

Does anybody think the new Thundercats series will kick start the merchandise madness again and also give us a brand new HD-video game, say....for the XBox360, PS3 and PC?!

Its way too early to tell but many of us would also like to see something based on the classic T-Cats show, but alas it'll have to be something hidden on anything based on the series beforehand i.e. a default code or hidden 'easter egg' gem to unlock the game looking "design wise" like the 80's animated show. and would said video game be CGI and in 3D or a minor 2D platformer regardless?

Would it be a combination of an RPG mixed in with a side-platformer, or RPG with a fighting-game engine?

I personally would love to see several things in a ThunderCats game be a combination of things.

1) "Final Fantasy" 13 styled CG graphics and cutscenes.

2) "God Of War" mythology/fantasy elements.

3) "Gears of Wars" action/adventure and close up camera movement

4) "Devil May Cry series" fighting game engine controls (although make it so you can use both a joypad/joystick and not just 8-button Pad only 'restricted' lie alot of HD games)

5) RPG PC styled complexed levels, campaign, and multiple missions settings, study game tutorials etc.

6) For the combat system; SF4 ('Street Fighter 4') Training Stage (I.E. ThunderCats style X-Men "Danger Room") for trying out methods for combos and for practicing strategies and whatnot etc. Although it'll also be like 'Soul Calibur 4' in the weapons training part, for the T-Cat heroes and villains! as well.


And as with all current games on Xbox360, PS3 and PC there'd be downloadable content (DLC) for costumes, weapons, vehicles, games tweaks, soundtrack enhancements/downloads, online battlemode or "campaign mode" or something or other for online playability. Reckon should the new T-Cats series gain the necessary momentum, this'll be indeed sweet to envision if the imaginations are large enough to see things like this happening for a big ThunderCats game for XBox/PS3 in this day and age etc.

P.S. Obviously a new game like this will be based on the new series, but as i said with a "code" input for the game, anybody could see a throwback to how it' might've worked and looked for the original T-Cats series as well.
