Panthro fears bats
Panthro is physically the strongest and is a cunning warrior in combat, ... His only weakness is his fear of bats. I say why bats

shareWell, he dislikes all creepy-crawlies (he faints at the sight of Willa's pet spider).
It's kind of the tough-guy rule of writing. When you write someone that strong, you have to give them a wimpy phobia to balance them out. Thundercats has been compared in the past to "The A Team", and this parallels with BA's fear of planes.
Well put, LiamABC. Just like the A-Team. But every time that bat came out panthro was scared as hell.
shareMaybe he had a bad experience with one or more bats as a boy. Things like that can stick with you. I had a bad experience with dogs when I was only a year old, and it took me 25yrs to get over it. Some people never do, maybe Panthro was one of the unlucky ones.
sharepanthro reminds me of someone i once knew, imagine michael clarke duncan, but bigger. seriously he is the type of person yu would never mess with, but he was terrified of dogs, even my small staffie freaked him out!
there was an epsiode where it mentioned everyone fear, but i can't remember what the twins were scared of?
Thunderbirds Aren't Slow
No, it never did anything quite like that. There was a creature who fed upon fear and the oldest three saw it increase in height when they encountered it...but I forget if that was before or after Mongor bound them. EIther way, they probably feared him since they didn't know exactly what he was or how to beat him.
The only one who had to confront an illusion of fear was Lion-O in the anointment trial - his greatest fear was...fear (in the form of what he had to face before which continued to haunt him in his sleep). Kind of appropriate for someone based on a symbol standing for courage, eh? I don't know what he feared after that, or anyone else. Failure I guess, or the others' falling. They were so tight-knit, I bet they thought of those as synonymous. Can you imagine how deep into madness one of them would sink having to watch helplessly as the friends that were as close as family were taken down around him?
