how old r u and how did you get into TCats?

Myself I'm 31, and like many other cartoons of the 80's I liked the idea of people who were built and the sword fighting and it's power.. 80's was the mecca of weightlifting in movies as well as cartoons, sly, arnold, van damn, etc samne with he man, voltron and T cats with sword strength and people like lion-o and he man who were well built and strong. .SO getting into bodybuilding years later since I was 9 in 1985 I can tell you know muscualr people and weight lifting was definetly why I enjoyed these things and a glimpse into my future,,,,

so 31 yrs young, and because of the strength, muscles, and sword of omens.. I'd say also because of the same reason with panthro and his martial arts..

Always those blasted mutants.. The books says no, but I never read that book.. :)

I remember it like it was yesterday. I was a young lad of six and I watched this religiously. A few years later I can remember being able to watch every episode of this again in the same hour as The Bionic Six.

I'm 19. I missed the original airings but caught it when Cartoon Network played it on Toonami. After one episode it became a favorite of mine.

I'm 25 now, and the Thundercats was shown here in Chile in 1989 more o less, It was a daily show, I loved it from the first moment. Actually Santa brought me an action figure of Panthro :-) (which my bro broke it several years later :( )

Sorry about my english.

I'm also 31 and I do remember being sort of impressed by how built up the he-man figures were; I always wondered how realistic it was and who might have designed the original molds.

Having said that though it didn't get me interested in body-building. On the other hand I was always on the lookout for ancient swords of power that might transform me into a ripped beast without doing all that work.

lol I'm watching it right this moment via xvid encoded episodes from vhs. I'm 33 :P

I used to watch it when I was in high school, so I was around 13-14 at the time I guess. Great show, and it's still great now. I never did get into the latter episodes though as school life got busy.

What got me hooked was the sheer characters in the program. Not just the cats, but the weird creatures that inhabited the planet itself. Also the Thundertank kinda rocked :P I always wanted one like every other kid lol

I'm 32. I was about 8 when it came out. My mom wouldn't let me have a sword of omens. I got the Netflix DVDs and have been showing it to my son. He seems to like it. I just hope the movie is not cheesy.

I'm turning 21 this sunday! ^^ Began watching Thundercats when I was in kindergarten(Thundercats in the morning and Earth: Above and Beyond before bedtime around midnight) I really loved the show, and am actually watching it right now! =)

I am amazed at how detailed the cartoon is! Awesome!

The voice-acting is sub-par compared to anime series, but as it is an action-series with abysmal storyline, that's fine ;)

Hachiman FTW!

3 years old. I was a cartoon fiend when I was a kid in the '80s.

And although I liked a lot of the other shows (Transformers, Ninja Turtles, G.I. JOE), ThunderCats is the only one I still seem to care about.

Hated He-Man and Voltron though.
