Bernard (Bernie) Hoffer
One of the all-time greats! His scores for this show and Silverhawks are the equivalent of John Williams film scores in the 80's when he was in his prime.
I so wish that someone would release his work in MP3 format. The best I could find were someone doing it in Midi format.
My favorites were his Champions of Third Earth theme, the funktastic Panthro theme, and the majestic music that always played when Tygra arrived.
