Which one is more beautiful?

Madeline... Leslie Ann down was so beautiful when she was younger. She is still beautiful today but she was georgous back in the 70's and 80's. She should have been a bond girl.

The most beautiful was....( drum role ).....CONSTANCE ! !
Inside and out ! !

Madeline...she had that exotic look.

Breast milk is sweet!

I'm such a fan of Genie Francis, so I say Brett.

I thought that Constance was truly beautiful, as well as being a lovely, sweet (but not saccharine) character. I don't know if her Irish accent was believable or not (sounded good to me) but she sounded so beguiling.

James Read knew a good thing when he saw it, and married his leading lady.

Seriously, it's Madeline. There is no way this is a matter of opinion. It's not. It's a fact.

Now the other two...well I guess one can argue between those two but I really think Ashton is overrated in her "beauty." I was always baffled at the fact that they set Brett up to be the "second choice" all the time when she is clearly better looking and not a whore. BUT some people like whores. :)

I soooo totally agree about Ashton.
I don't find her attractive in the least, inside or out.

EDIT: Sorry for spelling errors. These dang phones with auto-correct & me not catching it.

Actually in the book I think Brett pretty much was Forbes' first choice. He really liked her and I don't think he got together with Ashton until after Brett sort of dumped him for Billy. It wasn't like it was in the movie exactly. And even after Brett married Billy, Forbes still loved her.

I would say Madeline is my favorite, Lesley Anne Down is just stunning.

I have to go with Madeline as well.

Intelligence and purity.

They were all beautiful, but I have to say Madeleine. Lesley Anne Downs was a knockout when she was younger. I think she would have made a good Scarlett in that mini series they made, based on looks anyway. She was almost as pretty as Vivien Leigh.

Ashton was a beauty too, she had a wicked sexy look that is very appealing.

Genie Francis too was also quite pretty back in the day.

Well, Madeleine (Lesley Anne Downs) gets my vote between those three, but I agree w/ the other poster who chose Constance...she is a true beauty. I think Brett (Genie Frances) and Ashton (Terri Garber) ran a close race for 2nd place w/ Brett a little bit ahead because it was very hard for me to look at Ashton in a non-prejudicial way! She was such a nasty little critter!

Looks alone, I think Ashton. She's got that hot Bettie Page thing going on. Sorry, un PC but that's how I feel.

Virgilia. I know you didn't put her name in there, but she was more beautiful than all of them, IMO.

reply

Out of the three I would pick Brett. Maddy was more exotic looking but I didn't like her character (she was kind of blah.) Ashton was a piece of you know what but she had the letter B written all over her. She's more of the wham bam thank you ma'am variety while Brett is the girl you take home to Mom.

Actress wise I'd Pick Genie. She's aged the best of the three and still has it going on, got the older woman look down good. She looked great when she was on Y&R. Leslie's had a lot of work done and you can tell it. She started to age when Book 3 came out. Teri doesn't look anywhere like herself back in 85/86. She didn't feel the same in book 3 either.

I think Kristie Alley in her prime beats all three though. She was one of the sexiest women of the 80's decade period. When she did Cheers she was the biggest babe on TV. She just got the drama bait role. Put her in Ashton's role for example she could have been really awesome.

I think you're right about Genie, she looks great. Lesley-Anne Down was on The Bold And The Beautiful, my favorite soap, for many years and she was awesome as the "cougar" Jackie. I loved Jackie and Owen, "Jowen", he was much younger than her but she looked so good it was believable and they were hot! She was great with Sean Kanan's Deacon as well.

I'm not sure why Kirstie Alley's Virgilia is not listed on this, she was gorgeous. So was Wendy Kilbourne's Constance. Outside of Lesley-Anne, I would choose one of them.

Kirstie would have been a good Ashton in the face, but her coloring isn't as right for Ashton as Terri's is. Ashton in the book has black eyes. Then again, so does Madeline and Lesley doesn't.

Virgilia in the book isn't supposed to be as pretty as Kirstie is, or at least she isn't fixed up as nice, I think she was more attractive when she put effort into herself.

For the Madeline for the remake, I want Phoebe Tonkin of The Originals. She really looks like she could be Lesley-Anne's daughter and has the right exotic sort of look that Madeline needs.
