Lou's back

Wonder if he knows about Doug?

reply

Wasn't Lou around at the time of the explosion?

reply

He was there for part of Doug's last stint but can't recall if he was there for the actual explosion... regardless of course he'd know given how close Lauren is now to the Willis family.

I'm writing this signature in bold so people know it's a signature

reply

If I recall correctly, the last time Lou and Doug saw one another was when Lou thought he was being hunted by the mob, when they had to fake his memorial service, and Sheila was a total bitch about the whole thing.

reply

he was around just after Paige failed wedding. and was helping Doug tick things off his bucket list like singing in the bar (Karl tried take over) and if i recall something do with a card game. Lou and Hilary trying help Doug get in a nursing home cause he was starting get violent accidentally hurting Piper

reply

That's true. Of course he'd know about Doug.

reply

I'll have to fish up the article I read the other night, BUT according to THAT, this is actually going to be Lou's last stint on the show. He might come back later on down the track, but I think this is pretty much it. God, I hope he gets a decent send off.

reply

That really sucks. They best do a MAJOR farewell. I want to be in tears. I'm so gutted, this might be it.

reply

I hope this isn't his last stint - even if it's just brief appearances. Him and Harold are the "old guard" and it's not the same without them

reply

I'm nearly sure he left last time to do the things Doug wouldn't be able to/things he wanted to do and had put off?

reply

That sounds familiar.

reply

It's been a bit. I hope if this is his send off they reunite him with Cathy (Kathy?). They're so obviously head over heels. Plus it'd be sweet to have Lauren's mum and dad head off into the sunset together.

reply

I agree with this. Would be a nice way to finish it off.

reply

I think it'd be great. Also they might come back for weddings and things. Or not, if it was final, final, but still, it would be nice.

reply

I think so too.

reply

Also I think they cast the actress perfectly, she looks so like Lauren.

reply

This is Lauren's mother Kathy right? I knew that actress from a TV series in the 90s I absolutely loved/LOVE, called "Heartbreak High". Just love it. She played a cool character in that too. One of the actors from the first few seasons was actually originally supposed to play Steph on "Neighbours" but then got replaced at the last minute. But she's still actually there in a couple of the shots when the Scully's are pulling in, for their first episode. Once I found that out I was like wow. What WOULD she have been like??

reply

Yes. I've seen her in many things over the years too, and she's always so good. Oh that's interesting, I never saw Heartbreak High but I heard it was good. That would've been interesting, I always love the "who was almost cast" things and sometimes I'm grateful it was changed, sometimes I wish it hadn't been and others I feel either way could've been interesting. Like reading about all the other actresses who auditioned for Scarlett O'Hara.

reply

I loved Heartbreak High. Whatever happened to that? For years I though Salvatore Coco was the same person as Peter Andre. Haha.😊

I don't remember Kathy in it, who did she play?

🐨Have you ever?...Ever felt like this?🐷
